The Near Sea Service has expanded its shipping network to China and throughout Southeast Asia and built systems that can flexibly adapt to cargoes in a wide range of sizes and volumes. Especially in the Japan-China trade, we have established ourselves as a main player by taking advantage of our proven track record in transportation services for the Japan-China route beginning in the 1950s. Our comprehensive transport services for steel products include inland trucking services from delivery ports to plants as well as transshipment to barges at coastal ports for transport to river ports inland.
