In February and March of 2025, elementary school students visited our operated bulk carrier (the ship) “KIMIMACHI” berthed at the Port of Soma. This event was held as part of the 30th celebration of the commencement of commercial operation at Shinchi Power Station of Soma Kyodo Power Company,Ltd. and we also collaborated with the aim of helping students deepen their understanding of the maritime industry and ships, as they will lead the next generation.

Volunteer Activities

We held a “Foreign Currency Coin Sorting Event” in the office  with the cooperation of the Japan Philanthropic Association and the Japan Habitat Association, both Public Interest Incorporated Associations.  In addition to the coins sorted at this event, coins and banknotes donated by volunteers within the company will be used through the Japan Habitat Association to support women in Kenya and aid disaster recovery efforts both in Japan and abroad.

Calendar Donation Drive

Every year, the “Calendar Donation Drive” is held in Kagoshima Prefecture with calendars contributed by companies and organizations nationwide. Since the first event in 2006, our group has participated annually, donating calendars and planners to the organizer, the Kagoshima Green Fund. All proceeds from the bazaar are donated to the Green Fund and used to support forest maintenance and greening initiatives.
